Equinoctial Greetings

Greetings of the Equinox of the Gods!

“A feast for the Supreme Ritual, and a feast for the Equinox of the Gods.” – AL II,40

From Crowley’s New Comment:  “The Equinox of the Gods is the term used to describe the Beginning of a New Aeon, or a New Magical Formula. It should be celebrated at every Equinox, in the manner known to Neophytes of the A.’.A.’..”

Today (as of 8:49 PM PDT) is the March Equinox, and the first day of the new Thelemic Year: Annus Vvi. It is the earliest March Equinox in 124 years.

Again, from Crowley’s New Comment: “The Supreme Ritual is the Invocation of Horus, which brought about the Opening of the New Aeon. The date is March 20…” —Tomorrow.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our usual March Equinox festivities have been interrupted.  Many of our local bodies are celebrating the Equinox with online gatherings rather than physical gatherings. Whether you celebrate online with your friends and Siblings, or observe the occasion in solitude or in private with those closest to you, I offer you my best wishes for propitious equinoctial auspices.  Keep in touch with each other, and offer each other all the support you can.  May we be a comfort to each other during these challenging times, and may they be over soon!
