Pandemic Response
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I’m glad to see our local body masters and officers keeping themselves well-informed, and taking responsible and prudent actions in response to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Information on best practices is now being widely circulated. As the outbreak progresses, the advice will inevitably evolve; so everyone please do your best to stay up-to-date. I would like to specifically ask that you refrain from traveling, for the time being, to local bodies outside your local Valley, to help flatten the curve.
As I’ve already mentioned elsewhere, this is going to be a challenging time for our local bodies, financially, due to event cancellations. I’d like to suggest that local bodies consider continuing a regular schedule of meetings and classes via video conferencing. In addition to helping maintain revenue, doing so will help keep the community involved, and, hopefully, elevate members’ spirits.
Finally, for those of you who are self-isolating, I’d like to humbly suggest that this is a great opportunity to explore aspects of magical practice for which you have not previously had sufficient time.
