Translations of Alchemical Treatises
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Alchemy is one of the traditional studies of several of O.T.O.’s constituent originating assemblies; and thus forms an integral part of our overall body of learning. Consequently, I’d like to draw your attention to the website of alchemy scholar Adam McLean, which contains a abundance of information on this topic, including texts, bibliographic material, course materials, and historical and original artworks. Of particular note: as of December 2022, McLean has been engaged in an intensive project of translating as many original alchemical treatises into English as possible. He has published over 100 of them so far. They are available from Amazon as inexpensive paperbacks, and are listed on McLean’s bookshop page here.
